Our collections preserve the memory of College members killed in WWI. Look out for G.L. 'Chug' Cheesman's bookplate. A student and later Fellow of Classics, he volunteered immediately and was killed in Turkey in 1915. His books still form part of our working Library #ArmisticeDay
