So I decided to redesign Classic Max which I never showed you guys because I'm embarrassed by those artworks, but I really like this guy! He's a cutie. He's more of a kid Max than a simplified version of the modern Max design.

So I a Shadow character. So Max is Sonic, and this is Shadow. I decided to name him Lightning the Dog, as most of of lines are sharp, unlike Max. So, okay :3
