Just read most of "That Texas Blood". A horror & murder mystery set in Texas, with each story arc set in different time periods of the life of the Sheriff who serves as protagonist of the series. From @ChristophCondon & @jacobr_phillips - @ImageComics. I highly recommend it.
I just read "Time Before Time" from Image Comics, where different crime organizations rule over different time periods instead of just territories like criminals in our world. One of the best comics out there right now. I highly recommend it.
Pages later, Simone reinforces the lazy writing trope about "old white people think all black people are thieves" by having an old woman scared for no reason after Luke Cage enters the elevator she is in:
In this issue, the writer is LITERALLY preaching to the audience why they (the writers) won't stop saying Iceman is gay...
By doing so, it just reinforces the fact they turned Iceman gay as a gimmick and not because they actually give a fuck.
Pathetic....just absolutely pathetic.
The amounts of jealousy oozing from these sad fucks is hilarious.
What If...? Miles Morales (2022) #4, more like What If Asgard was the most stereotypical hood you could find. Seems like the writer Google'd "how do black people speak in movies" and went along with it. I guess all black neighborhood are filled with graffiti?
