The references and the sketch

I got this idea today of drawing a scene of one of my characters in the forest on top of a tree. Since the Leopard tribe is one of assassin specialists I wanted to give them a menacing and cool scene.

Sometimes I get an idea of a concept after I start drawing. The initial idea for this piece was a guy holding a spear but I’ve been watching cyberpunk and just got inspired to turn him into a cyborg.

@BabJ0N 2. The way the characters are highlighted and shaded. That really makes the whole scene look very well lighted and you can properly separate foreground mid ground and background. The light from the door gives it more impact in bringing the scene together

Always… aalwaayss use reference. Itakusaidia kupata idea on how to draw things. So mfano for me, I wanted to draw the ice, so I searched for someone with ice ability na pia some drawings of ice the I practiced that, then I applied it on my art.

The references and the artwork

Main inspiration is the character Musashi from the Manga titled Vagabond. I wanted to draw more renditions of my Yasuke character so I used a couple of references to complete this piece.
