A little sneak peek to one of my favorite acrylic on canvas paintings.

I painted this in 2018. I really enjoyed playing around with colors and textures. Even with the framing I wanted one that compliments the piece.

1. The Beginning

I have been drawing almost all my life. Sketches on my exercise book in school and even on my hands 😂. I wanted to sharpen my skills so I watched many tutorials and practiced, practiced, practiced. To this date, I have drawn more than 1000 practice artworks

Just look at this Tanzanian artist’s work! Scalar is one of my very favorites. I can always recognize his style. I have got to get some of his work at my place!

Msasani Macho

The alternate universe Dar that snows series continues with location Msasani Macho.

Inspired by a previous illustration I did of the same spot I decided to use it to transform it to the alternate. This was fun.

An interesting challenge

1. Someone draws and sends a random shape and you draw something from it
2. You cannot erase the shape, only draw inside it and around it.
3. Don't let the shape get lost in the art you create

A friend sent a shape and this is what I came up with (1/2)

I rewatched Sinbad Legend of The Seven Seas and I got to say i enjoyed it even more now.

Just the opening scene you can tell that the crew has been through a lot of adventures together. The way they work together like an orchestra complimented by the amazing score!
