Happy Felix Ortiz day, all. I VERY FIRMLY believe that fan art plays a huge role in convincing readers to give your book a shot. Five years after I first laid disbelieving eyes on it, "Lastleaf and Ashatan" (the OG piece of The Band-related fan art) still blows me away.
