We've been putting it together for a long time, and my amazing co-creator, superstar colourist @ChrisOHalloran, is just casting faerie-dust on this. It was so important to work with someone who has the Irish shorthand for Parish Halls, Pagan Superstition and Catholic Guilt.

It's a story born out of adult awkwardness and parental paranoia, and juxtaposed with a load of ghosties and Irish folklore. Basically just four adults incapable of acting with the same emotional intelligence or common sense as their toddlers.

It came about when I reached the part of my life where you KINDA start making ALMOST friends with the other parents at the school gates, but don't have the same social skills your kid has, so don't get to the Hanging Out stage.

I'm making a new comic! It's called SCARENTHOOD, and it's about some parents who go ghosthunting while their kids are in preschool, but have to be back by lunchtime to collect them. It's The Goonies, grown-up and with mortgages. Or: Catastrophe meets Stranger Things. In Ireland.

@Natephoenix83 Just tried to find the old sketch, but I can't lay my hands on it But his 'spoiler' was actually gonna be his front fender, with his chest plate rotating to face forward. Cannot for the life of me remember the back. It was kinda alien and less sleek/Earth mode-y.
