The first shot I animated on 'The Mitchells Vs. The Machines' seemed simple at first -- but it quickly turned into a lesson in seeing hands in a whole new way as I tried to infuse the fun & unique shape language of Production Designer, Lindsey Olivares (@lindseydraws).

For me, animation is always rewarding, but isn't necessarily always fun.

However... the Posey's "Butterfly Formation" shot in 'The Mitchells Vs. The Machines' was PURE fun from start to finish!

Working from the hilarious boards by @billybobmartinz was an absolute blast!!

At first I was thrown off by the #AddamsFamily character designs because I grew up with the 90's movie, but TIL:

A) It began as a comic strip in 1938 named after the artist, Charles Addams.
B) The "new" character designs are based on the original comics.
