@Nymnesis this time around ye, and maybe i'll redo the icons for fun later too, but the original one did have short hair so it could well... actually fit as an icon lmao

@Nymnesis the problem with minus designs is that they are essentially creating a new design based on the character of the ORIGINAL version, so head details and colour are kind of set in stone

using the old old versions as examples

The more I look at the minus fellas the more unhappy with their designs I become, so when i get the time I want to give em a full re-design.

What do you fellas think? what works? what doesn't? what should stay? what should be removed? what could be added? etc

@bluebreeze52 Yes indeed, here is Xolaani and Horazi. There's also Valeeva who is supposedly Varus' lost sister and a whole host of other female Darkin that died before they were sealed in their weapons

Aatrox may be the only Darkin who prioritizes his host body resembling his original form

Naganeka was likely a snake Ascended: long tail, Cobra "crest", NAGAneka - but looks more like the beast she possessed

and jesus christ you can just look at the old one and can tell how wildly uncomfortable I was making it, but I've learned alot/gotten more comfortable drawing different body shapes beyond my usual cartoon triangle bodies lmao
