Been in pretty huge funk the last couple of weeks, so decided to try out some new mediums to paint with. Here is watercolour, inks, pentel brush pen to outline, and a wee bit of colour pencils too. Based on my fave photograph of me!
Happy love day to everyone!
I spent the day going out for coffee and cake by myself, having a hoop, making my fave dinner - macaroni cheese, and finishing this little cutie basil witch illustration!
Had some fun playing with new tones/lighting with this one.
I have been researching Wicca recently, and feel even more inspired to keep drawing these witch babes.
Hand illustrated and coloured using my good ol' copic markers, then edited a wee bit on photoshop.
I drew a new witchy illustration! Trying out using some colours I don't normally use (blues usually terrify me as I like using lots of greens and earth tones).
I ended up redrawing this girl 3 times as I kept messing up before going back to the original illustration and just thickening the lines to hide my duff up. I think it turned out pretty well, it is tricky drawing glasses, but love the badass vibes of this chick! #copicmarkers
Inspired by the Pinterest girls who are forever being so effortlessly cool. #copicmarkers #copicart #illustration
So I have started doing a bit of yoga in the mornings,as I am trying to get myself more flexible to enable me to do the Box with my hooping. I invested in some yoga blocks, and they have been a complete game changer for someone as unbendy as me! #illustration #yoga #CopicMarkers
Managed to knock out two illustrations today (one is a custom portrait, so can't share right now), but here is a super bendy Parisian hooper I did so I could try out my new @copicmarker colour, Ice Ocean (BG72)! #illustration #hooper #copicmarkers
In the midst of all the festive hooha, remember to take some time out for yourself, and do something that brings you calm and self fulfilment. Illustrated using my fave @copicmarker pens :)
