Ninny has grown into a character that represents my energetic, creative and sensitive self. I've grown a lot as a person, and somehow it feels she has too. ^-^ It seems the both of us are happier now than we've ever been.

Her two different eyes initially didn't start out as simple heterochromia however. The original idea was that her left eye was damaged, which represented a feeling of my then undiagnosed neurodivergent self being unable to experience the world the way others did.
Then around 2017 the first drawings of who is now Ninny arrived. She was more representative of me as I was growing older, and her inspiration came from my favorite color pink, accompanied by the theme of sunflowers, since family often associated the flower with me. 🌻
