Hapi of the Ashen Wolves has a brash attitude that belies a deeper truth about her past. She has her own reasons for living in Abyss, but plays it cool as she defends Abyss from invaders and follows Yuri's lead.

The self-proclaimed "King of Grappling," Balthus of the Ashen Wolves has a rough-and-tumble personality. Running from his woes (and his debts), he's gone underground—literally—in Abyss. Despite his motivations, he's big-hearted and protects those he cares for.

Constance of the Ashen Wolves is a member of the former House Nuvelle, which was dissolved following a war years ago. Despite living in Abyss, she dreams of one day restoring her house to its former glory. Her nobility comes through in her composure and commanding presence.

Meet Yuri, leader of the Ashen Wolves. A former student of the Officers Academy, he was expelled and forced to move to Abyss. While he’s rough-spoken—underneath his brash exterior is someone who is intensely devoted to protecting the people of Abyss.

On your adventure in the Crown Tundra you’ll discover a new Legendary Pokémon, Calyrex. Legends say this Pokémon once ruled over a part of Galar that included the Crown Tundra. It’s characterized by its graceful, regal movements. #PokemonSwordShieldEX

Once you complete your training, Kubfu will be able to evolve into Urshifu. Urshifu also has one of two styles, Single-Strike Style or Rapid-Strike Style. It even has a Gigantamax form!

You’ll also encounter new rivals in The Isle of Armor. In the Pokémon Sword Expansion pass, you’ll train alongside Klara, a Poison-type user. In the Pokémon Shield Expansion Pass, you’ll train with Avery, a Psychic-type user.
