The Goron Golem is an unused enemy from Twilight Princess. As the name suggests, it's a collection of Golems that, when approached by the player, morph into a bipedal figure that attacks the player. This is one of the many things we'll cover in part 2 of unused content in Zelda!
In #BreathoftheWild, there exists a strange place in Faron; a boar head is surrounded by 6 pillars (one is fallen over). Given this is a Zonai structure (boar = power for them), and that Ganon is often associated with boars, is this a "retelling" of Ganon sealed by the sages?

The Zonai Tribe is most CERTAINLY involved in the sequel....in the trailer shot I increased the contrast so you can see the pattern on the column out of the water. The other is a shot from Faron in BotW1
