It amazes me that there was a whole story arc where the fan favorite and the fan service character had intertwining character arcs show that they were more alike than not, and when it was hinted in WfP that something more was going on between them... nothing.

While we're on the topic of flowers in Attack on Titan, why did both Levi and Zeke have daisy imagery in context conversations of (preventing) birth and parenting? There was no connection ever further established, so it makes me curious....
