Maybe it's a misunderstanding but I just realised how the big two "failed" pirates from the paradise doesn't truly believe in the power of crews/nakamas, but the big pirates in the new world does.

Even as small as Doflamingo to the most selfish ones like Big Mom.

Even tho Oda had a spotlight on haki in recent arcs, other abilities still shined during this raid alone. Devil fruits can still be deadly, plus innate abilities, self-taught skills, science and other factors are still in play. This just makes OP feel more alive and creative imo
