I loved everything about this game's aesthetic, characters and setting. Ishiwatari is a beastly and inspirational multi-talented creator. Also I got into metal from these games, lol, I remember looking up the bands referenced by the characters and getting hooked on the genre.

Tatsuya Yoshikawa was maybe the first game artist I knew by name. After playing IV/DQ I tried to save every piece of concept & official art I could find. A big art & design influence who got me to start caring about & researching the individual talents behind the things I like.
