We introduce a novel child-friendly, open-source ToM fMRI task. Accuracy & performance evaluated behaviorally in 60 children (3-9y), using fMRI in 27 adults (red) and 33 children (7-13y; blue), resulting in ToM-activation in bilateral TPJ, temporal gyri, precuneus & med. PFC/OFC
We are looking for a PhD candidate in the area of developmental neuroscience! Are you interested in #brain #development, #socioemotional & #language processing & ideally have some German knowledge (for the testing of parent-child dyads)? Contact us.

Making neuroimaging child’s play, or in other words, developing MRI protocols that are child-friendly, age-appropriate and fun to all participants (for research or clinic) can improve the experience of those participating & heighten the quality of the scan.
Hi, I am a developmental neuroscientist and you may know me from my greatest hits “Twinkle, twinkle, MRI”, “Grant submission No55” (also known as “Another grant bites the dust”) and “Imaging”; greatest cover hit “I walk the line”
