It's my first 'animal of the year' art ever and it was very fun! Also, I'm extra happy to create something personal after a long, long while (it was a tough year).
I wish everyone strenght in 2021, stay safe people 🤍
Art made for Tasha's Cauldron of Everything :3 It was tons of fun!

I went through sickness and a lot of anxiety during the lockdown, i had a real vacation, i had anxiety again because of the world situation as a whole and russian problems in particular and finally(!!) I'm painting something personal again and here is a small sneakpeek :3
I see portraits as my weakness and currently that's one of the focal points in my learning. I post some of my sketches on my insta https://t.co/Aoas5wibVi

Week 6. Here goes the full color range. We were asked to choose a color combination and use it in our work. I am bad with colors. And I didn't push it far enough, Lina's critique really helped. I still feel it's a bit in your face but it takes practice 10/
Week4: standing firmly on our foundation we're getting into the photobash! We were asked to do some photomashing to have fun with this tool and also to photobash one of our previous sketches. Here i was really happy and excited with my result! 7/
Week 3: we have our nice shapes separated to the planes, it's time to add some light! This was a very important point: great composition works well with just tones and light goes as a bonus. Mine got a bit too soft in the end, don't do this )) 6/
Week 2 was about tones and planes. Now we needed to make new comps using 2-3 tones and additional comps using tonal keys (tonal comprassion some people call it?)
