The Koajo Alus Destroyer. I wanted to create a craft that could perform as dynamically as the UNSC's Frigate classes or my own Keele 513. The Koajo is that craft. #SianWars
Ozona-class Escort Carriers. As with the Liloquat, the Alus did not have the resources to replicate their larger ships during their exile. The Ozona is a functional compromise. #SianWars
While rooting around for references on something else I'm doing (I'll say what in a moment), found some nice art I did.
My uncle is the only other TOS #BattlestarGalactica fan I know. Therefore, I throw my fanart at him to seek approval from another fan. Like this: All the Battlestars I've drawn.
It's a bit of a shame to put a lot of thought into these different Battlestars only to have them not show, or explode in the holocaust of the Colonies. But I really wanted to sell the magnitude concept. #BattlestarGalactica
Son's down, finished sketches. With Battlestars being the size of small cities, they're accompanied always by an entire flotilla of smallcraft they can support and construct on their own. In Epic #BattlestarGalactica, the Battlestars aren't so helpless and alone.
@TheSpaceshipper @junji_okubo This guy is one of the masters of Mechanical artwork. Ever hear of Steel Battalion? He did that. His battle machines looked like cousins to modern day construction equipment. Here, I'll show you:
Since Colonial culture fought a war over a thousand years, and given the mythological background, I wanted Battlestars to be something with no parallel in human history. To that end, they are massive city-sized vehicles that put Star Destroyers to shame.
