This beautiful object is known as the Ashwellthorpe Triptych - a triptych is an artwork in three panels intended to be viewed together. This one is a rare pre-Reformation survivor and is thought to date from around 1519. #PastonTreasure: https://t.co/rrE1piQAnb

Can you spot this nautilus shell cup in the Paston Treasure? The cup, on loan from @rijksmuseum, has a gilt mount in the same style as the painting's frame, this is known as 'auricular' which means 'of the ear'. See it here as part of #PastonTreasure: https://t.co/Zy0Z4csIkv
