Le printemps (Spring) is an Art Nouveau stained glass window from 1894 designed by Eugène Grasset, a Swiss artist considered "the father of Art Nouveau". The window was made by Félix Gaudin, a French stained glass artist.

4/ Annexation of Bosnia in 1908 set in motion series of events: Ottomans kicked out of Balkans during Balkan Wars 1912-1913. Also Serbia angry by annexation of Bosnia. This lead in 1914 to killing, in Sarajevo, of Archduke Franz Ferdinand by a Bosnian Serb, which triggered WWI.

3/ After Austria-Hungary took control of Bosnia in 1878 from the Ottoman Empire, Austria-Hungary printed these stamps to make clear to world that Bosnia was part of their empire. 2 yrs later Austria-Hungary annexed Bosnia.

1/ Here the famous set of 16 Bosnia-Herzegovina stamps from 1906 designed on behalf of Austria-Hungary by Koloman Moser, main artist of Vienna Secession. These are one of the first stamps with artistic designs, incl modernist frames.
