For Our Spring Was Endless, I was inspired by Korean folk art form Minhwa — traditional art created by working class Korean people.

I loved stylizing the buildings of Myanmar & was inspired by the different daily objects / animals Minhwa artists include.

My mom pulled this poem. We couldn’t believe it!!

My mom came to the US as a refugee. She was a young girl & a trailblazing feminist.

She is the OG Ntxoo. Much of who I am is cuz of her.
