Today we #Benedictines celebrate the feast of Saints Maur and Placid, young disciples of St. Benedict. When Placid was drowning, St. Benedict sent Maur to save him. Maur's unhesitating obedience enabled him to save Placid, running atop the water since Maur didn't swim!
