Portrait commission for returning client @BenCassidy21 ; very happy to paint this werewolf dad.
Inspired by the legend of Mariang Makiling, a fairy/goddess of Filipino mythology who guarded the forests and mountains. She rewarded those who respected the earth but would withdraw her gifts and disappear when humans became too greedy.
I got some people asking if I paint in colours besides blue. tbh the answer is, "How much are you willing to pay for it?"
Because I really, really like blue.
This was the artwork btw. I didn't think too hard about it, so I thought it was endearing that someone decided to interpret it in a particular way.

I'm an illustrator who is dependent on social media for work. Even while I hate the system, I must show up and pray to a selfish, predatory, digital god that my work is seen. #FixTheAlgorithm 🙏
