Quai de Bourbon, acrylic on paper, 38 x 50 by @Donald_Teskey from his forthcoming exhibition PARIS JOURNAL at the gallery. Opening on 16th September, twelve small scale previously unseen works show Paris as a quiet place of contemplation.

The artists in 'In Living Memory' have drawn on the centuries-old tradition of still life to remind us of issues that remain central to humanity such as life, death and the passage of time. They redefine the genre to create works of power, beauty and emotional poignancy.

‘For Nimrod' from Davidson's Variations. Nimrod, the most loved of Elgar’s Variations is named after Elgar's friend Jaeger which is German for hunter & Nimrod is the 'mighty hunter' in Genesis 10. Jaeger sustained the composer through his many and severe periods of depression.

'Locus' final week. In this project, Eager Maher references Du Maurier's Rebecca. Manderlay, it's interior & atmosphere, is a central protagonist in the story.

Renowned curator Rudi Fuchs at Hague’s Gemeentemuseum, where Barrie Cooke showed in 1992, linked his work to Kokoschka. Until 22nd June.
