I still think out of all my character designs, Rhapsody has come the furthest in proper maturation. She went from what felt like slamming together .hack's Subaru and a Taurus mobile suit, to something much more original, and I think her character is so much better for it.
@SkrillerArt @_maliciousalice @MeidoMatsuri @NeonDergon The artifacting is from the file compression, not from it being a scan. If it had moire patterning, THEN it would be a scan. There is a difference.

Comparison for my latest redo piece. The base concept was left, but with minor tweaks to the composition and a huge change to the color palette; digital/traditional transition notwithstanding.
Finally working on another redo of one of my first illustrations. Hopefully I can pull off the environmental changes while still keeping the mood intact.
