Experimenting with a drawing technique I was introduced to back in high school art class but haven’t really worked with since. I picked the very badass artist Frank Frazetta as my subject.
I’m posting the first 5 pages of W:ASB #3 for free! The rest will be up on my Patreon, I’m trying to get two pages done a week but in the meantime there’s other cool comix and crap that you can soak into your eyeballs. https://t.co/q7Vmu89SGD
Continuing my tradition of doing a self-portrait at the beginning of each new year. Here's to a great and productive 2020!
Dejah Thoris V2, enhanced with the power of photoshop. I wish that I had just done the original on toned paper and then added in white charcoal, but I do like that I can still re-create the look.
I’ve been reading A Princess of Mars and want to bust out a bunch of badass aliens. My vision of the Green Martians is very Orc-y, so I’m trying to figure out how to mesh that with the actual book description. I want them to be beefy bois whereas they’re more like lanky bois.
Inktober Day 29- Deep Sea
I like those freaky-ass bioluminescent fish that dwell deep down in the abyssal zone (I mean, I think that’s where these guys dwell. We don’t really know what the hell is down that deep!)
Inktober Day 27- Vulture
They’re freaky, but pretty darn neat. Important too, they’re nature’s undertakers.
When I was going to college in the morning I would see vultures perched up on phone poles and fence posts with their wings spread out, sunning themselves.
