Happy 35th to the Zelda series! 💖 My dad had an NES when I was a kid & Zelda was one of the first games (if not the first) I ever played. I was captivated by it, and my love for the series was cemented when Ocarina came out a few years later.

Going through some old art and found this. :) The thought behind this was to make a life icon for a 2D Sonic fan game I was conceptualizing a few years ago. I’m still quite fond of this and may revamp it in the future!

@Epic_Kevster Haha 🤣 Honestly, it reminds me of what Nickelodeon did with the 2012 TMNT series with “Half-Shell Heroes.” Could see them doing this with the Sonic movie-verse someday.

I am planning on taking a few commissions soon, but it’s something I’ve never done so I’m unsure how to go about pricing & stuff. Thinking of just doing Sonic/fan characters in Uekawa style for now like the following artwork. Fellow artists: what do you charge for similar stuff?

@Bubblepopspit Okay, probably not a surprise I love the Zelda ones, but the big Sega piece is super impressive too! Think my favorite is the one with Link and Navi though - I just adore Link’s expression! 💕
