Due to various tank crashes, J and I are revamping aquarium populations and moving fish around. I moved one of my female golden topminnows to the guppy tank and the male guppies immediately tried to seduce her.

Found a firefly on my trash can this morning.

So last summer we discovered that a dark brown plastic rain barrel on a deck that gets direct sun from 8 am til 1 pm in Virginia tends to melt and sag a bit at the bottom if not completely supported. You can see the stand behind Zille in the first picture.

Apparently the onions I planted a little while ago have been enjoying the weather. I’ve got three happy row of onion leaves like this.

Shit may be fucked up and bullshit but at least you can still get fish by mail.
