I'm still learning digital art things behind the scenes for the next few weeks. Here's an Asuka I knocked up quickly this evening. The arm could be a bit more gangly for this character but I feel I did a passable job with proportions and shading.
I think as the technical capabillities of computers increase, people are often dismissive of older games visuals, the reality is that a lot of old games have so much very good art in them, look at these Chrono Cross backgrounds.
Ok I'm watching Alien Nine and it's traumatic in a way I wasn't expecting at all from a show that looks like this.

So I loaded the old Dispatch prototype in to Unity 5 and I think I like the contrast the upgrade process spat out.
Tried a few different ways to get buildings in proccity v2, not satisfied with any of them, but progress is progress.
