Warming up before jumping into comics work for the rest of the night with a different brush.

I'm convinced that @kianamaiart's OC is a TikTok star and I to attempt to draw her doing those silly poses the kids do on there.

Trying out some different inking brushes I downloaded in the Clip Studio Paint marketplace. I'm trying to experiment and loosen up a bit with my lines.

I got to put so much of my love for the fun expressiveness of 90s anime into Black Mage. So much of the book is all about character acting.

Nothing makes me happier than seeing black characters in anime that actually get drawn with our noses and lips.

Okay so I touched up my #sailormoondraw so that the colors looked closer to the actual screencap. I also tried adding noise and doing that chromatic abberation technique to make it look more like old anime.

Whoops. I got carried away and finished my #sailormoonredraw.

And a few more pieces. At some point, I’ll do some more Sailor Moon stuff!

I haven’t done the Sailor Moon Redraw tag in a couple of years but here’s a bunch of stuff I’ve done between 2014 and now.

Not sure sure how I would even describe my work these days but I’m happy with where it’s been taking me.
