DR. STRANGE #22: Dormammu has returned to take the rule of the Dark Dimension from his niece Clea, and he has brought his sister Umar back from exile. Strange and Clea are defeated, and Sara Wolfe does the unthinkable: she releases Baron Mordo from his cage to help them!
DR. STRANGE #21: A battalion of Mindless Ones escape from the Dark Dimension, and although Dr. Strange defeats them handily, he worries what their appearance may mean for his beloved Clea. He crosses to the Dark Dimension and finds her in more trouble than he even imagined.
So this original graphic novel, written & illustrated by Charles Vess, may read like a B-grade episode of Scooby Doo, but it’s nice to see Spidey so far out of his element—and when the illustrations are on point, they’re absolutely beautiful.
DAREDEVIL #290: Matt Murdock has remembered who he is, and discovered that Bullseye has been impersonating Daredevil. Turnabout is fair play, and he takes it upon himself to impersonate Bullseye. Time for a throwdown!
DAREDEVIL #288: The imposter Daredevil is revealed (to us) to be... BULLSEYE (surprise!), trying to ruin the hero’s good name and impress Kingpin. Meanwhile, “Jack” Murdock spends all his free time sleeping, trying to uncover the past buried in his subconscious.
DAREDEVIL #287: “Jack” Murdock has taken up a career as a boxer, fighting blindfolded as his gimmick. Kingpin sees him in the ring and realizes that he’s really Daredevil, which is pretty impressive since not even Murdock knows that anymore! Meanwhile, the imposter DD marches on.
DAREDEVIL #286: Amnesiac Matt Murdock has taken up w/ itinerant Robin Hood thief Nyla Skin and agrees to help with her next job, but remembers at least that he doesn’t steal. He also fails to protect a judge that he met last issue, seemingly unable to keep his promises to anyone.
DAREDEVIL #285: Matt Murdock has lost his memory, and believes himself to be Jack Murdock, Regular Joe. But if he’s not the one in the Daredevil costume, then who’s swinging between rooftops and giving people hope—at least until he robs them?
