overall, i’ve enjoyed seeing the X-Men’s judgements so far; Destiny w/ Mystique, Shaw w/ Emma, Exodus w/ his bf, Psylocke w/ Sinister etc… they’ve all highlighted those fears or failures that drive them and it’s so interesting to see, plus i love the shade of it all

this homage really is poignant; Emma’s always blamed herself for the deaths of her students - it’s her main motivation these days! but now those same students she strives to avenge are telling Emma that her existence isn’t justified??? the Progenitor is so nasty 😭
