@ToAru_Shitposts @The_casette_rol In that specific comic he got the eye lenses for his glasses from his ship so it probably has that old Kriptonian hypnotic effect that makes it so anyone that looks at Clark can't see Superman that was a thing in the old continuity.
"What will you have after 500 years? Think! Human! Think!"
"I'll still have you Othinus."

Seems we'll soon be getting a New Testament Volume 11 "Mental Out arc" adaptation in Toaru: Imaginary Fest
The idea of a Superboy and his Super-Dog on adventures together stopping catastrophes in Smallville is something I wish we saw and if this did become a movie they should definitely have the Kryptonian pup show his worth in Kent's house.
P. S. I love how Krypto is implemented into this timeline, Clark's ship recalls a puppy Krypto's shape that's up in space, this means Superboy gets to have Krypto The Super Dog as he's still a child, something I don't we see in other continuities.
Just wish he was actually used.
I just love how his mother wants her son to embrace his alien heritage by talking about her own heritage, that's a good message for people who aren't American that try to fit in.
Superman is an alien who believes in the American Way so this was perfect.
Also Superboy exist>>>>>
You can tell Geoff Johns was pulling from the Golden Age Superman comics when he made Supes mess something up for Lex.
I love how this is an excellent compromise with past origins of Superman.
