Today is #InternationalDanceDay or, as we like to call it, #DancingWithCatsBookDay. We like to celebrate it every year with another look through one of our very favourite books. 💃🐈

Today's #ArchiveAdventCalendar theme is #Reindeer Reindeer antlers were found in a peat bog in Rousay in the 1930s. They were a size larger than any previously recorded from Scotland. So reindeer were in Orkney in prehistoric times. #OrkneyArchiveAdvent2020 Ref: PSAS 1935-6 Vol20

Today is #NationalCatDay and there is no better time to revisit THIS fabulous book. In that crowded genre of books about cats/dancing, the masterpiece that is Dancing With Cats has yet to be improved upon. 🐱💃

Sorry to hear that Albert Uderzo, illustrator and co-creator of #Asterix has passed away. How much history, geography, art and humour did we all learn from reading these fantastic books? And how to read Roman numerals.
