Angel Cop (1989) looks so good on Blu ray. I can't believe the DVD version used to look perfectly fine to me.

One of the fun challenges in pieces like this is taking a 2D sprite and interpreting what it would look like from all angles.

@OsakanOne However, looking at bluray rips of old anime, I can identify 2 things straight off:
Lines:They're coarse and change weight and have little gaps in them. Digital vector lines are generally super precise so some kind of process to "roughen up" the digital lines layer would be good.
