Sounds like example of kawaii bishonen you can found in Shojo or Yaoi titles, which afaik generally aimed to female demographic.
...well, this girl still got point since they talking about western comic, and i guess muscular gritty men are not everyone's cup.

Other plot points:
-Mecha exist here so tank is akin to technicals used by Adventurer (some monsters are as big as T-rex and appears often).
-Adventurers uses personal comm device heavily.
-Royal Rifles are eqv. of Commando here, and the only unit using personal comm gear.

Soppo's new skin is... worth it. It's cute, especially the victory animation. I were thinking making this a longer comic but... Eh, screw it. And this looked better IMO.
