example: looks up Tarasque, depictions of Tarasque show it huge in some cases, slightly bigger than a person in some, and the size of a small dog (but eating a... tiny person? and in one case it's a pig mermaid instead of the usual description.) Why's it gotta be like this? 🙃

A naiad who was cursed and turned into an amalgam of tentacles, teeth, and dogs (oh and a cat's tail for good measure). She snatches up sailors that come too close to her home as they try to avoid the whirlpool, Charybdis.

@Valbun_ I don't have a whole lot of work of them from recent times but these two are a couple of cuties I plan on doing more with. (They're named Maat and Cyrene)

Octobestiary entry 7 is Stolas; the 36th Demon in the Goetia and Great Prince of Hell.

Stolas appears as an owl with long legs and a crown. He teaches his summoner about astronomy, plants and precious stones. He also commands 26 legions of lesser demons.

He scurries back and forth to deliver messages between the eagle that sits atop the World Tree, and the serpent below.
