@mofuunmi @NemuiAkuma1 This is Saki, one of the 4 main characters of my 2D platformer set in a large fantasy world of people with various powers. She has the ability to morph her body into purple goo, and her character story involves an exploration of disability, since she is a right-arm amputee.

ポケモンソールシルバーは初めての日本語のゲームで、そのゲームで日本語学び始めた。そしてオンライン勝負に興味あったから、ポケモン世界大会に参加出来てもらった

Result of my little experiment: when using her stretchy arm, Saki now pinpoints a location based on position and directional input, and the arm stays anchored toward those coordinates even while she continues moving. It's such an improvement over the original static animation.

Me: "I hate drawing fire"
Also me: "Let's design a dragon character who can perform a fire Spindash!"

I think that some of Saki's prominent features really stand out when she's fully animated like this! ^^

Also yes, I'm absolutely committed to animating *everything* twice for her just to keep her right arm consistent.
