uh have u all seen the director of sonic the hedgehog's only other director credit?

i probably should be working butttttt

compare that to his Sonic Adventure design. it is still good, less iconic i would call it over designed.
but that over design was clearly intentional. finally polygons could look like things and the designers wanted to take advantage of that.

eggman is all round however save for his triangle moustache

villains tend towards triangular shapes.
