Yep. that's right.... All good guys! There was no "The Other" in this franchise originally. Grody poo monster? You better believe they're sacrificing themselves to save the kids. Xenomorph whale? Well damn, sounds like Rodney Dangerfield, ALSO helps the kids.

Seriously though, I know a lot of queer people love monsters, and Digimon is one of the big monstery things I grew up with as a kid.
It meant a bucket load to me that this gnarly Giger inspired beetle was a GOOD GUY.
Any other franchise would waste this design on a villain!
