The Ginkgo Guild is named after ginkgo trees, which are found in China. The guild's emblem is based on ginkgo leaves.

The press release states that the Ginkgo Guild is not native to Hisui.

Love that you can immediately pick out this art and these designs as being the work of take (@_take_oekaki), who also designed Galar's Gym Leaders and the Aether Foundation in SM. Their work is incredible so I'm happy to see them continue to contribute to Pokémon.

Irida is the leader of the Pearl Clan found in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Her partner Pokémon is Glaceon. "She feels it is important to have the courage to face the vast Hisui region."

She's initially suspicious upon meeting new people, but will "slowly come to trust the player."
