These large holes over a hill above the desert also feel like a question begging for an answer. I'm guessing it's a cave, and its entrance may be obscured from view, but it'd be cool if you could climb up with Koraidon/Miraidon and then leap into the hole to explore.

Official artwork of Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's Penny, a student in the player's grade. "She has a bit of a shy personality, and for some reason, she doesn’t seem to come to the academy very often. She is especially fond of her fluffy Eevee bag and always has it on her back."
Official artwork showcasing Pokémon Scarlet & Violet's new battle mechanic, the Terastal Phenomenon, by which players can increase the power of any moves that have the same type of their Pokémon's Tera Type.
