The next spotlight is Aotearoa, more commonly known as New Zealand! As you can see, a few birds that have been spotlighted recently are trying to bring in more fame (Haast’s Eagle and Huia, we know you’re there! The giant moa though...)
Today, we’re going to focus on some birds from the land down under. Note: since historical descriptions didn’t specify which is the Kangaroo Island and which is the King Island emu, they’ll be either or.
WHAT? Another post?? Yup, I promise it’ll be the last one for the night, and it’s another Broad-billed parrot skin, most likely the one closest to life (a more reddish-brown compared to the previous deep red, though I have alternate interpretations made as well).
More Mauritian parrots! Because why not? I decided to make a few more right when I was making an alternate skin for the Mascarene parrot (it may have been grayer in life according to some scientists!)🦜
As part of an upcoming special, the Broad-billed parrot was redone!
Round 5 of even MORE NEW dinosaur species! For those who’ve been dying to see a mammal for weeks, I’ve even included a BONUS: the baby dinosaur-eating Repenomamus! I’m also aware of the new Diplodocine study changing its anatomy, so I will tend to that later.
Round 1 of NEW dinosaur species! You mentioned your favorites, and in turn, they’ve been made! More species and skins are being created based on those mentioned, be on the lookout! 👀 (more skins will be made for these species in the future)
Round 3 of skins! To note, the animal placeholding Troodon is Stenonychosaurus.
I made an alternate style of the Haast’s eagle, more furnished to fit the current style!
Round 2 of skins! More are still coming, so be patient and keep on the lookout!
