Share your #paleoart and your favourite #paleoartists!
Just a few things from me.
Some of my favourite #artists would have to be @SerpenIllus, @BStokkermans, @ncdraw, @VilleSinkkonen and @MaijaKarala. Also Pollyanna von Knorring and Graham Seymour who aren't on twitter. https://t.co/fSED1vpywG
Happy #FossilFriday, and here's another illustration for @Palaeofox/ PalaeoGames' new #TTRPG sourcebook! https://t.co/o2DYKly6Q3
This is a restoration of Nelumbites, a #Cretaceous #lotusflower🪷. Unlike modern lotus flowers, fossil species can have heart-shaped leaves. #paleoart
#MerryChristmas and #HappyHolidays to everyone over this weekend! I hope you have a lovely time!

Just adding the finishing touches to a new blog post.... you can probably guess what it'll be about, but here's a final little snippet before I share it in the morning.

Hey all,
I finished my nectar-feeding #kalligrammatid diversity diagram! It was very interesting to do and the diversity of their wing and body shapes is incredible!!! It was also interesting to see the diversity of eyespots present. #paleoart #paleontology #insects
I always seem to end up drawing this birdie. Here's a quick stylised restoration of #Cratoavis, which I'll hopefully be incorporating into another illustration. #paleoart #palaeontology #sciart #birds
Been looking at some of the #HellCreek liriodendroids recently and thought I might have a go at restoring a #Liriodendrites #flower. I've restored it as an intermediate between #Archaeanthus and #Liriodendron.

@Philoceratops Howdeedoodlethere!
Agender bi demisexual palaeobotanist here!
P.s. thanks Lori for creating this post, it's great seeing all the other queer palaeos out there!

Continuing on from my post the other day, here're some more #gymnosperm reproductive organs.
This is a selection of representative organs from the #Bennettitales, a group of unusual #Mesozoic #plants. I'll be labelling the various anatomical features later.
