Looked more closely at the Sweet Peas, just a few blooms this time.

My brother came to stay! So lovely after so long. We went to the river Avon at Eckington to paint and saw swimming, canoeing, fishing, paddle boards, swans, ducks. I managed the bridge. Now it’s under my skin, must go back with picnic again. Didn’t we have a ‘luverly’ day…

Travelled to my home town of Rugby to deliver a commission to a dear friend from our teenage years. Always more like family, such a lovely couple of days. There is now a Pam’s wall, this a rather large watercolour featuring the canal lock and The Pub!!

Today, an experiment with the pastels. I wasn’t happy with the dark background on this Large water colour, I have enlivened it with the pastels. Reflection invited ( don’t be too harsh though)
