Today I suddenly remembered this kinda sorta "my little pocket monster" type of thing I used to draw in elementary school, like, 18 years ago. And I really needed to draw it again. Turns out I still love it.
Here, have a proper scan of that Chirostenotes drawing from couple days ago.
Color concept for the dinosaur project thingy: Crested bellower (Hypacrosaurus)
I did some research on some background dinosaurs for my dinosaur project thingy, and apparently orodromeus might have been a burrower? I'm totally going to run with this idea.
They nest in burrows now.
Nobody can stop me.
There was a Star Wars (Revenge of Sith) on television today, and it made me all nostalgic about my own alien species (well, half-alien, but close enough) the triaformica.
I miss them. One day I need a soft-sci-fi style story to put them in, but for now, here, have a tria jedi.
Aaaaand the first drawing made completely in 2018 is a random doodle of Pony being jealous of human skill of standing tiptoes.
And I somehow had to erase the year from the signature TWICE before writing the right one.
Bought couple new copic markers (pink) and needed to test them. The pinkest thing I could think of was Pumpuli the three-legged tundra dragon I have on Flight Rising.
I also completely forgot to draw his horns. Oops.
Two Feathers and her sister's family meet a turtle.
I did some research and apparently late Cretaceous turtles could get pretty big.
