And the evolution of Brookid, Spoutlaw! This line is honestly a lot of fun, and they're fun to draw, too. Spoutlaw's name is also pretty straightforward, it's just Outlaw + Spout.
I was really looking forward to posting this one because it just veers so far away from what anyone would expect looking at Buffuego, but it'll make sense! Sinsear is just a play on Sincere + Sear for that fire pun. They can launch beams of heart-shaped fire from it's hands!
Ferodillo's evolution; Deputia! The name comes from Deputy and Rebutia, which aren't native to Texas but are round and make pretty large flowers. Deputia has a flower it wears like a badge, the healthier the flower, the stronger the Deputia!
The Grass Starter; Ferodillo! The name comes from Ferocactus + Armadillo. The genus of cacti it's named after are found in Texas.
The Water starter, Brookid. A mischievous Pokemon that is a pain for new trainers. This pokemon was well known for pulling constant pranks on those who attempt to raise it and constantly disobeying it's trainer's orders. 1/2
The fire type starter, Bufuego. Bufuego travel together in herds. These small Pokemon are called "The Desert Blanket" by natives of the region, due to the herds often taking in lost Pokemon or travellers in the desert at night, and keeping them warm with their body heat.
First up we have the Grass starter, Ferrodillo. Ferrodillo are jolly pokemon who love to play, often rolling around and bumping into eachother. When near a group of Ferodillo, people must be cautious though, because their sharp spines can make playing with one dangerous!
SO I HEAR EVERYONE IS TALKING ABOUT FAKEMON NOW, HUH? Youtube videos, multiple twitter artists making absolutely stunning work. It all takes me back to my glory days in 2015 where I was pumping out fakemon like a madman. SO HERE. MY STARTERS!
So I'm in the "make a Sonic OC" phase of quarantine. His name is Tex the Longhorn, and his horns stuck out and always face forward when he spin dashes.

@vergolophus Yo-Kai Watch 3 has two recurring characters throughout the game that are LITERALLY just Mulder and Scully.
