So when I do slime creatures, and just general overly shiny highlights (my favorite stuff to color by the way. I LOVE doing highlights.) I do a sorta line for the main highlight, and add a few circular/oval shapes to it to give the highlight more texture??? I guess?

one of my favorite splatoon oc's. hes a hybrid of an octoling and a few other octarian types. His name is scribe. basically created to quickly write down or draw out ideas my commander tartar would tell him. he sorta blanks out and writes/draws said idea perfectly.
