My 1st ever Warhammer army was WHFB Orcs & Goblins. Seeing these new Orruk Warclans takes me right back there. You can't believe how excited I am about this army. Orruks, Grots, & Troggoths (+Hobgrots), back in one army & dialled up to 11. I mean, just look at these monsters! 😍
Second head done. I was going for the look of the marine on the #RavenGuard supplement cover (albeit wearing a rebreather). I think I managed it.
I've worked my way through the reverse side of the model & the power pack. Also prepared the base for priming. Does anyone else use leftover sprues (suitably scuffed) as rocks? Almost there with this Iron Snake.
I deployed 1st & laid the foundations for a castle. As all the action would be on my left flank, I pushed as far forward as I could with my Tactical Warsuit to discourage deployment on the right flank. My opponent didn't play ball, placing a Leviathan with screen on the right 2/9
Wow! What a difference a black background & front lighting makes!
Thanks to @ver1L @WargamingLobby @Moiterei1984 for your great advice.
I'm now 20% of the way through my #CorpseGrinderCult for #Necromunda. BTW, I took these pics using my lightbox & the camera has muted darker colours in its rendering. Tried additional lamp & camera flash but no joy ☹️. Any suggestions? Do I need a new camera? #warhammer40k #WH40K
3/9 The Wolves advanced downfield. His Intercessors took wounds off mine. My Warsuit was surrounded, botched its overwatch & was destroyed. It didn't blow up. I gambled & spent a CP to reroll. It paid off & I got the 6, inflicting 3 mortal wounds on each of the attacking units.
A closer look at the Bloodletters. I couldn't recommend Flesh Tearers Red enough. I looked at a colour wheel before edge highlighting the swords green. I definitely prefer the "warpstone" look to their swords.
